Development Focus
Started from 2015-2016:
  • Open Bilingual Class (Half-day Class)
  • With 1 hour English & 2 hours Cantonese teaching from Monday to Friday

  • Objective: To equip our student’s English language ability to cope with both international and local primary school’s curriculum
Bi-literacy and Tri-lingualism

Children have English class every Monday to Friday. They learn vocabulary, grammar, phonics, listening, reading and simple writing through our integrated English lessons taught by our fully certified native English teachers. They are also encouraged to participate in our theme-based English activity programme and Cambridge English Channel reading scheme. We place great emphasis in teaching Chinese to children as well, in particular, Cantonese and Mandarin. Our native Mandarin teacher, who has obtained the first rank in the Putonghua Proficiency Test, trains our students in pinyin, oral speaking and prepares them for School Speech Festival. Students were discussing the growth of potted plant with our English teacher, who always take the initiative to communicate with the children, offering them more opportunities to practice their oral English in daily life occasion.

 Our school has an English Drama school team led by professional performing art tutor, in which our young elites are trained to use English naturally and confidently in meaningful circumstances.

Creative, Logical and Tactical Thinking
Our School is the first kindergarten to offer two famous awarded Korean curriculum in Hong Kong.
Korean Gaming Education Tool for Elite Education

Enhancing varied abilities such as logical and mathematical thinking abilities and a creative problem solving skill.

“Integrated Teaching” is what the Korean hold for their education philosophy. They emphasize on “Communication and Discussion” and their children learn complex mathematical concepts through playing and operating gaming tools for education that are designed for developing emotional and intellectual abilities

Korean gaming education tool is co-founded by the laboratory and university, collaborated with many educators, philosophers, aestheticians and psychologists and has been studied and clinically tested for more than 20 years

This set of education tool is selected to be used as the Creative Science programme in Korea’s “Early Childhood Education Full-day Programme”, organized by the Educational Policy Research Unit  

Korean Magnet Block Curriculum

It is designed based on the Froebel Gifts, the well-known educational play materials invented by the founder of preschool education – Friedrich Fröbel in Germany, focusing on “Solid → Plane → Line → Point”

This set of education tool is selected to be used as the Creative Science programme in Korea’s “Early Childhood Education Full-day Programme”, organized by the Educational Policy Research Unit

With the new technology “magnetic junction device”(patent no.0457305), blocks can be freely connected, moved and revolved as children imagine without repelling to one another, allowing creativity, mathematical and logical thinking to expand.

Task sheets with different levels of block-building quests are provided.

Children’s Financial Quotient Education

This program will see our teachers attend a course in financial quotient education administrated and presented by the Financial Quotient Education Association in order to become Certified Financial Quotient Instructors (CFQI). Our school will then develop an unique financial quotient education program with consulting by Mr. Kwan, the director of the Financial Quotient Education Association and head of an international research and development program which focuses on gifted children and how best to ensure they fulfill their potential.

Communicative Campus

The “Communicative Campus” program at our school was developed by Dr. Rerrario Ho of the Speech Science & Accent Applications Laboratory at the University of Hong Kong. Dr Ho’s program sees certain objects on the school campus ‘communicate’ with children. By associating physical objects with speech sounds, children’s exposure to native spoken English is increased and their English listening and pronunciation skills can be improved.

Korean Fine Arts Curriculum

Appreciating famous drawings like they are visiting an art museum, and create artpiece freely like ” I am a little artist!”

Picture Books Teaching

Through discussing the content of selected picture books, teachers guide the children to learn more about the theme and message, and encourage them to create artworks, movements and music based on the story. Children had read a picture book about different animals attending a party. After discussing what happened and what materials they needed, each student made a party hat and some sandwiches to share in class party.

Orff Schulwerk Children Music Education

We aim to build children’s interest and confidence to articulate feelings and ideas through creative movements, singing and reciting, instruments playing and improvisation. “Exploring” and “Experiencing” are what we emphasize and we give credit to children’s imagination and creativity while their music sense and passion are developed. What matters to us is our children realizing their potentials and enjoying their time in every musical experience.

Environmental Education

During New Year activities, teachers encourage students to use candy wrappers to engage in a diagram creation. Hence, in children’s daily routine, teachers also often encourage children to make more use of different materials that can be recycled and are environmentally friendly materials; such as water bottles, handkerchiefs and recycled paper, to reduce waste. In addition, the school has planted a variety of plants so that children can observe and recognize the importance of ecological growth activities and care for our nature.
